Our Programmes

All of our community programmes are provided free of charge. Our programmes run every term and are very relational, whilst offering practical tools and input delivered by our staff along with local committed volunteers. We are dedicated to building healthy whānau and providing practical tools and support to help those in our provincial communities achieve this. 

Te Kaupapa Whakamana

Stage 1 Men’s Leadership development programme.
Offering men tools to find the strength to make healthy choices and live their life to their full potential.

Te Ana Raiona

Stage 2 Men’s Leadership development programme.
For men who have completed our Te Kaupapa Whakamana programme, you will build on the tools already learnt and develop a deeper understanding of your leadership potential.

Whakahonohono Mai

Stage 1 Women’s development programme.
Discover our personal development programme for women on strength, identity, worth, value and goal setting, in a friendly group setting.

Te Moana Kura

Stage 2 Women’s development programme.
For women who have completed our Whakahonohono Mai program. This level 2 program builds on the tools learnt and continues to encourage a deeper understanding of your value, identity and purpose.

Driver Licensing

A pathway to gaining, or regaining a licence, to assist with employment and getting your driving career off to the best start possible.

HT Class 2 Licence

A course designed to provide theory and practical information on gaining a HT Class 2 licence, and to help you on your way to finding employment.

HT Class 4 Licence

A course designed to provide theory and practical information on gaining a HT Class 4 licence, and to help you on your way to finding employment.

Defensive Driving

This 2 week course with an intensive theory and practical components will enable participants to get 6 months off their Restricted licence.

CAP Release

Tools to break life controlling dependencies including alcohol, smoking, gambling, drugs or internet addictions that wreck lives and cause financial and relational poverty.

Building Awesome Whānau

Building Awesome Whānau draws on the wisdom of mātauranga Māori and the best of Toolbox to offer you and your family a kaupapa that is uniquely Aotearoa. 

Barista Training

A two-day course to learn the barista basics, to help find employment.

Te Reo Classes

For those who wish to learn or further develop their Te Reo skills in a fun and casual environment. This is a weekly class held during term time.

Women of Wisdom

A friendly gathering of women who have graduated from our women’s development programmes.  

Strength

A unique personal development and group mentoring program for teen boys that uses an inspirational, practical and experiential approach to learning.

ShineGIRL

A unique personal development and group mentoring program for teen girls that uses an inspirational, practical and experiential approach to learning.

Basic Computing Skills

For adults of any age and stage wanting to upskill in basic computer, email and internet knowledge.
